Attorney Richard La Paglia is a native or Phoenix, Arizona. Mr. La Paglia is a vetean of the Vietnam war where he received the Army Commendation Medal and was a recipient of the Bronze Star, in 1969.

Mr. La Paglia attended St. John’s College in Camarillo, California where he graduated with a degree in Philosophy. He went to Law school at the University of California located in Davis, California. He received his Juris Doctorate in 1975.

Richard and his wife Mary are joint partners in La Paglia Law. Richard is the senior partner with over 41 years of practicing law. Immigration Law has been his primary focus over the past 20 years.

Although Mr. La Paglia’s law interests are primarily working in Deportation Defense, he will focus on his clients needs including such things as DUI, simple traffic, and criminal charges that may be pending against an immigration client.

Mr. La Paglia’s experience comes from not only practicing a variety of cases but also as having been a City Magistrate Judge. He also serves as a Justice of Peace Pro Tempore where he has served in this capacity for the past 15 years.

Other positions Mr. La Paglia has served in include a Deputy County Attorney where he was in charge of the Child Support Division in the Pinal County Attorney’s Office.

He has also served as the Eloy City Attorney where he shares his vast  knowledge regarding city issues, advising the City of Eloy, Arizona on matters pertaining to business.

He has also served as Staff Attorney for the Pinal-Gila Legal Aid Society in Coolidge, Arizona.
